The tour will start picking you up from Messina port. We take the highway Messina / Catania, we leave the sea level and start to climb towards the summit of the Mount Etna the highest volcano in Europe.
Before we reach our destination we will cross some Sicilian villages like Santa Venerina and Zafferana, then we get to the craters Silvestri (7000 ft.). The landscape of the big craters is amazing and from it you will can admire the large lava flows creates from past eruptions. On the road we enjoy the great vineyards of Etna and the farms overlooking the coast of Catania.
The tour continues to Taormina, an ancient Greek colony with its amazing pedestrian path, the Greek theatre, the monuments, the shops, the famous restaurants and pubs and much more. The last stop in Messina is the Cathedral with its unique and spectacular clock astrological / astronomical (the largest in the world).
